We welcome new members who like to walk. There is something about getting out in the fresh air with a group of people that lifts a person’s mood and bonds them with the group. You don’t have to be retired to join us.
Once a month a leader decides on the date for a Tuesday or Thursday walk. We meet in the Church car park at 10am and then share cars to journey to the appointed start. After the walk we meet up for a lunch at a local hostelry.
On the first Saturday of each month we plan a longer walk and take a packed lunch. That evening we all meet at the home of a host for a ‘Bring +Share’ meal – a most enjoyable and entertaining time.
