Caring for God’s creation is part of the Methodist Mission and, in the face of global heating and biodiversity loss, this is now more important than ever. At Dorridge Methodist Church we are actively seeking ways to reduce our environmental impact and be more sustainable in all we do. We believe every organisation and every individual has a part to play in restoring the beauty and balance of Earth.
We participate in the Eco Church Award programme managed by the charity A Rocha UK, in partnership with Christian Aid, the Methodist Church, the Church of England and other partners. To date, we have reached Bronze Award standard and are on course to achieve Silver Award.
