Dorridge Methodist Church provides a centre for many groups meeting on a regular or ad hoc basis  in the Bentley Heath, Dorridge and Knowle area.

We have a whole variety of community activities, the building is adaptable and multifunctional with a kitchen (Room Bookings – Dorridge Methodist Church (dorridgemethodists.org.uk))  Examples of those hiring the rooms include choirs, exercise classes, Pre-School and other children’s groups, dance, slimming clubs and it’s a very popular venue for children’s parties.

It is the responsibility of any groups we share information about to update their information.

KNOWLE MALE VOICE CHOIR

Established in 1997 KMVC is a not for profit community male choir.  Through our concerts we raise funds for local charities and good causes.

We are a very welcoming group who love singing and would love you to join us.  We have over 30 singers, 9 of whom have joined us in the last 18 months.

Rehearsals take place at Dorridge Methodist Church, 103 Mill Lane, Bentley Heath, Solihull, B93 8NY

Dorridge and Knowle Memory Café 

The café, run by home care company Unique Senior Care, aims to provide a supportive and friendly environment for individuals living with dementia and their carers. The official launch will take place on 11 June 2024, with the café running every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Dorridge Methodist Church, Mill Lane.

The Knowle and Dorridge Memory Café is designed to be a warm, welcoming space where attendees from the surrounding areas can enjoy a variety of activities, socialise, and find helpful information and resources. Activities will include art and painting sessions, singing, and dancing, all aimed at stimulating and engaging people living with dementia. Professional organisations will also visit to offer support and advice. Sessions, including refreshments, are £3 per person and will be guided by experienced care professionals, dedicated volunteers and we will work with professional organisations to support members.
